BREAKING: POLICE RUSH TO KAMALA HARRIS’ HOME – POTENTIAL ATTACK…

MALIBU, Calif. — Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies mobilized late Friday night following a trespassing incident at the gated seaside residence of former Vice President Kamala Harris, where private security officers intercepted an unauthorized woman before she could reach the main home.

Harris and her husband, former Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, were away from the residence when the security breach occurred at their Point Dume property.

Deputies assigned to the Lost Hills sheriff’s station were dispatched at approximately 10:30 p.m. following a distress call from on-site private security guards reporting an active intruder. According to department officials, security personnel intercepted the woman on the grounds well before she reached the perimeter of the primary structure.

By the time patrol units arrived on scene, the woman had been escorted outside the gates. Deputies interviewed security staff and the trespasser, formally warning her that she was on private property. The individual agreed to depart the premises voluntarily and left the area without physical confrontation. Deputies did not place her under arrest or file criminal charges, choosing instead to file an administrative trespassing report while assigning additional patrol units to monitor the neighborhood as a precaution.

Harris spokesperson Eduardo Negrón confirmed the sequence of events and noted the rapid response of both private and municipal security teams.

“Vice-President Harris and Second Gentleman Emhoff were not present,” Negrón said in a statement. “They are grateful to the security and law enforcement personnel who responded swiftly.”

Authorities have not released the woman’s identity or offered an explanation regarding her motive. Department spokespersons noted there was no indication that the individual was armed, made verbal threats, or caused structural property damage.

Subsequent reporting indicated the individual had attempted to enter the property earlier that evening. Sources familiar with the incident said the woman initially arrived outside the gate via a ride-hailing vehicle, approached the perimeter security post, and was directed by guards to leave. She returned hours later, prompting the private security detail to escalate the encounter and request an immediate emergency response from county law enforcement.

The episode has cast a fresh spotlight on the complex security posture surrounding Harris following her departure from the White House in January 2025.

Under federal statute, departing vice presidents are entitled to mandatory United States Secret Service protection for six months post-tenure, though the Department of Homeland Security retains the discretion to grant temporary extensions based on ongoing risk assessments. In the absence of an active permanent federal detail, prominent former officials typically transition to private executive-protection teams comprised of former federal agents and off-duty police officers, backed by local law enforcement protocols.

The Point Dume property, an estate valued at roughly $8 million located along one of Southern California’s most exclusive coastal bluffs, has served as a primary retreat for the couple. In addition to the Malibu residence, Harris and Emhoff maintain a long-standing home in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood.

That Brentwood address drew law enforcement scrutiny in January 2025 during emergency evacuations tied to the destructive Palisades Fire, when local police arrested two individuals near the perimeter. Authorities later clarified that those arrests were connected to broad curfew enforcement rather than an orchestrated attempt to target Harris.

Throughout her career as San Francisco district attorney, California attorney general, U.S. senator, vice president, and the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, Harris has maintained an exceptionally high public profile. Her ongoing status as a leading voice in national politics has preserved heightened security interest around her personal residences.

Friday’s incident underscored the operational coordination between private security contractors and local sheriff’s deputies. Private guards acted as an outer buffer, intercepting the individual before any structure was breached, while county deputies provided the official statutory authority necessary to issue formal trespass warnings and log the encounter.

While investigators have determined the incident did not pose an active physical danger to the former vice president, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department affirmed that heightened area patrols will remain active around Point Dume to deter further unauthorized approaches.
